Stock Market Swings & New Hopes for March 2014



There is major change in a European markets  most of are trading in the red, down 0.5 per cent. Sensex up 39 points at 21,865, off nearly 100 points from its day's high of 21,965.95. Nifty up 5 points at 6,517.

The BSE Sensex at its higher and postioning its sixth gain as drug makers and  Potential software services exporters such as Tata Consultancy Services recovered from major losses.Sensex ended 30 points higher at 21,856; Nifty closed at 6,516.

The stock had performed surpass the market over the past one month till 13 March 2014, rising 31.76% compared with the Sensex's 7.83% rise. The scrip had also exceed the market in past one quarter, gaining 31.67% as against Sensex's 5.11% rise
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 5 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2. Markets are flat in early trade. Sensex down 6 points at 21,819.85 while Nifty is off 9 points at 6,503.15. Maruti Suzuki shares fell more than 3.5 per cent after institutional shareholders raises fresh concern over Gujarat plant.

The stock hit a high of Rs 1,169.80 and a low of Rs 1,124.90 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,285 on 4 March 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 595 on 26 March 2013.

Markets are flat in early trade. Sensex down 6 points at 21,819.85 while Nifty is off 9 points at 6,503.15. Maruti Suzuki shares fell more than 3.5 per cent after institutional shareholders raises fresh concern over Gujarat plant.

Astrazeneca Pharma India jumped 8.36% to Rs 1,155 at 12:01 IST on BSE, after the company scheduled a board meeting on 15 March 2014 to consider voluntary delisting proposal.

Shares in Havells India Ltd gained as much as 2.9 per cent to a record high of Rs. 853.95 after reports said that the electrical goods maker is planning to list its European subsidiary Sylvania Global on the London Stock Exchange.
